Christ Church in Slidell, LA is our partner in Gulf Coast relief following Hurricane Katrina. Adult mission teams from our church traveled to Slidell in November 2005 and May 2006 tp repair houses in the area; a third team returned in November 2006. The St Francis Homeless Shelter in Denver is another mission partner. Adult teams travel to the shelter once a quarter to volunteer. Our most recent day trip was January 30, 2007. This is a wonderful one day mission trip opportunity for adults who are interested in mission work but cannot travel for one week to 10 days. Our youth mission team traveled to South Dakota for the third year to work with the Indian reservation repairing the church and conducting Sunday School.
