The Nursery for The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration at Edwards is called “Emma’s Place” in honor and loving memory of Emma Anne Rawlinson Knowles, (May 28, 1998-May 31, 1998), daughter of Sue Rawlinson and
James Knowles.

The fundamental need of our youngest members is to know God’s love. Through a safe and caring environment we hope to provide an aspect of God’s love that meets the needs of our infants and toddlers.
All children ages 6 months through 3 years of age are welcome.
The nursery is staffed by both paid and volunteer caregivers. Each care giver has gone through an application process involving background checks, references and training in church policies and procedures. Youth volunteers ages 13 to 18 also assist the adult staff.
