Kerygma is a Greek word which means "proclamation, announcement, preaching" (BAGD, 430-31). In Erasmian Greek pronunciation, which is used in most universities for ancient Greek, both biblical and classical, kerygma is pronounced "kay-roog-ma" where the first "a" is long and the last "a" is short.  Kerygma means the initial gospel proclamation designed to introduce a person to Christ and to appeal for conversion.

Men's weekly morning bible study:  B.I.T.E

Pastor Mark will be leading a new men’s group called B.I.T.E. (Breakfast, Interaction, Theology, Energy) every Thursday morning at 7am at the  Edwards Interfaith Chapel and Community Center.  They will be studying the Lectionary texts for upcoming Sundays.  Come for a light breakfast, ask tough questions of the texts, and see how the Holy Spirit directs and guides lives.  The study will end with prayer time and you will be out the door by 8am.
