There will be two sets of fees that you will pay. The chapels, through the auspices of their respective religious foundations, will send you an invoice from the specific religious foundation (not applied to weddings scheduled outside of the chapels). This invoice is sent out within two weeks of you officially reserving your time at the chapel, and the full amount is due. The two hour time slot is $800, and the three hour time slot is $1200.
The second set of fees are the ones due to The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. If we are performing your wedding, the fee is $700. If we are merely hosting a visiting clergy, our fee is $250. (There will be an extra $30 fee if we are doing your Prepare and Enrich inventory). Please click here for an explanation of our fee timeline. Musicians are not included; we will send a local list when you reserve your wedding.
We can only reserve a chapel time a year in advance. You are free to request a time farther out, but there are no guarantees that you will be able to receive this slot, as we put all the names that we receive into a pool to be selected for duplicate slots.
Once you have reserved your time and have confirmed it for billing, Marlene will send you some additional paperwork on behalf of Transfiguration via email. Please ensure you review this in detail, and please contact her if you have any questions regarding Transfiguration and chapel requirements. You will also find the questionnaire that will need to be filled out regardless of one of our priests are officiating or if another pastor or clergy will. Marlene is also a wedding steward in addition to the Director of Wedding Ministries, and she can answer most questions.
